What to Do in Florida Keys?

Updated: Oct 13, 2019

Florida Keys is located south of Miami. It’s basically a chain of coral islands with variable sizes and they cover an estimated area of 110 miles ranging from the Gulf of Mexico to Atlantic Ocean. The number one reason to come to the Keys is fishing the tranquil turquoise waters of the Keys. The greatest fishing spots are all over the Keys but some fishing locations are more popular with anglers than others like Marathon. The “West Hump” also called the “Marathon Humps” has great deep sea fishing at its finest.

This is where the world-class fishermen know where to catch a monster pelagic. Fish like blue and white marlin, sailfish, yellowfin and Blackfin tuna, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi/Dolphin. A real battle in the fighting chair with either a Marlin or Tuna will last for hours and you go home with memories of a lifetime. Marathon Florida should be on your bucklist if you're a serious fisherman!
